The Residence Inn Fairfield Napa generally receives positive feedback, particularly regarding its spacious rooms, convenient location, and friendly staff, especially those in the front desk area. However, recent reviews highlight recurring issues with room maintenance, inconsistent service levels, and difficulties with billing discrepancies.
Theres people continually stomping while you sleep even when you call the front desk all can be said that its pass quite hours im long term been here almost soon the be a year its a constant struggle here the problem is not resolved not even 3 star more like a 1 star Washers never work dont have enough of help. Front desk is rude no help their only concern is fill rooms.the morning staff SUCKS rude inconsiderate. Evening staff ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. THEY WOULD GET 5 STAR. HOUSE KEEPING super friendly and helpful. MAINTENANCE OUTSTANDING.
This a beautiful hotel! It was my first time in CA. The grounds are nicely landscaped and well-maintained. Very nice outdoor pool. Also, a lovely place where guests can bbq. Beds are comfortable. Nice-sized residential style fridge. I really appreciated the coffee-maker, which was NOT a Keurig. The front desk staff are very cheerful, pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast offered a lot of choices for any taste. A great place to stay.
We stayed for a week at the Residence Inn in Fairfield/Napa, CA for a business trip, and while the hotel itself was excellent and met all of our needs, what truly elevated the entire stay was the incredible front desk team. Anita, Florley, Natali, Dru, and Monicia were absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Every interaction was warm, thoughtful, and above and beyond anything we expected. We traveled with our son on this trip, and they went out of their way every single day to make his experience just as special as ours. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care made a huge difference. They provided great local recommendations for family-friendly outings and even helped us plan little “tourist days” that made our trip memorable for him. It’s rare to encounter a team that consistently delivers that level of hospitality. We cannot thank them enough for the experience they created for our family. If you’re staying in the Napa area, this location should absolutely be at the top of your list. The staff alone makes it worth choosing this hotel.
After repeated attempts to reconcile our quoted room rate and what we were finally charged ( only a little over 18$) I give up. We've stayed here twice, I like the rooms but there was a definite drop in quality of amenities from our previous stay. Breakfast choices were the same almost every morning. Coffee disappeared after 9:30 am. 3 sets of towels instead of 4. Cheapest coffee maker and coffee in the room known to man. I ended up buying a coffee maker at a thrift store since we were there a week. I was refused a set of plastic silverware because the food area was closed. But their refusal to make it right with the bill after I proved that I was quoted a different price was the final straw. We won't stay here again. There are other choices across the street.
This hotel is everything you need for a vacation or staycation. It is conveniently located Near NAPA, Sacramento and the Bay Area. The facilities are almost brand new, only two years old so everything is still fresh and clean. This review is mainly for the amazing front desk personnel that assisted my family -Monica. She is customer service oriented, professional, efficient, kind and just has a good aura about about her. This hotel is very fortunate to have her. I would absolutely stay here again if the opportunity ever presented itself.
Hotel is fairly new. Check in was easy (I also had checked in on the app which makes it easier). I stayed on the 4th floor right by the elevator facing the parking lot and it was comfortable and quiet! Breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast - eggs, sausage, oatmeal, waffles and fruit. They also had croissant breakfast sandwich. I would stay here again.
The room was comfortable and breakfast was good. Check-in was fine for us but our friends had a more difficult time. Their room was pre paid and were told they didn't have one for thm. Then once they "found" a room for them, they had to stand in the lobby for a while as others checked in before they were given a key. Seemed to be a staffing issue.
This place is great. Super nice patio with nice seating. Super view of mountains and surrounding area. Rooms are very clean and could not be happier. With all the great things about the property to say the best is the staff. Jasmine who works the front desk was a delight and refreshing person to meet on our trip. She was cheerful and happy from the second we arrived and when we went outside to sit by fire she walked out with blanket and gave it to my wife and said it gets cold. That is a simple gesture but it showed she cared about the guests. Give this woman a raise!!!! I will always book now with this chain because of her
Unhelpful staff. I’ve been staying with Marriott since I graduated college and started working. I’m a lifetime platinum member and this is the worse service I’ve received in my life. No empathy, lack of appreciation for loyal customer. You can do better. Long story short. I called the night before and was told my room would be available earlier. Showed up and they told me it didn’t happen. I asked to check my bags and was told I have to pay to keep my bags. No questions or probe why I’m doing this. No empathy. No acknowledgement. Not helpful. The manager was there too This was 7/22 /25 at 8:24 am
Front desk, staff very knowledgeable and helpful. However, the property manager Mark that sits in the front office, listening to everything but never looking up and acknowledging customers, is extremely rude and not helpful at all, our company had booked a stay for a room with a tub and when we got there lo and behold the only rooms with tubs are ADA rooms, which two days later they put us in one and promptly moved us out the next, with the manager Mark stating that he could get alot more money for the room than what our company was paying. So after an approximate stay of 12 days we had moved 3 times our company finally found residency elsewhere. The manager Mark is an extremely rude and unhappy little man who does not come out of his little office at anytime to help resolve any issues except when it’s to make more money. I think corporate needs to think about getting rid of this guy, and putting someone professional in his place. Did I mention his name is Mark?
