This Quality Inn offers spacious rooms with full kitchens and convenient access to local dining via its prime Texas Street location. However, recent reports indicate significant inconsistencies in cleanliness, ranging from spotless bedding to moldy rooms with tobacco smoke smells, and checkout processes are frequently impacted by technical issues.
I love this hotel! First of all, the location is prime! You can walk to a bunch of amenities, food, tires, autoparts, nails, clothes. It’s also on the main drag of Fairfield so very easy to drive where you need to get as well. Second, the staff here is caring, professional, and accommodating! I had an issue with my third party booking, but the man checking me in was able to get me into the room I wanted with everything I needed easily for an additional fee that saw VERY reasonable. Third, the rooms are AMAZING!!! Do you know how much money I’ve spent trying to find a room with an actual oven?! When this hotel says they have a full kitchen, they are being true to their word. And the oven hood was clean, unlike a different hotel that claims to have full kitchens but don’t. My only complaint with the Quality Inn is that they aren’t an extended stay lodging so the longest you can stay is 30 days, which is amazing considering other hotels in the area tell you 21 days. The other con is that parking fills up fast but I have never had to park off the property, just across the lot itself. My car has never been broken into here, and I never wake up to find new damage to my car from other tenants. The benefits at this hotel far outweigh the cons, hence the five star review. So, next time you’re coming to stay in Fairfield, CA, I highly recommend checking into the Quality Inn on Texas St. it’s money well spent to have the space, the oven, and staff that do their job well and don’t harass you or come into your space (thank you for that!). It’s not for longer stays and the parking can fill up quick but this is one of the most unsung gems in the area. Enjoy!
Checked in and the first room (non-smoking) we walked into smelled horribly of cigarette smoke and mold. We went to the front desk and requested a different room. We walked into our new room and it also smelled disgusting. After a quick look around, there were obvious stains, including brownish stains all over the lamp, the other lamp was white for reference. We decided we would not be staying at this hotel and went to the worker at the desk to request a refund. I showed her the pictures I took and explained the issue and she told me it was “one of their cleanest rooms”. I was told I will get a full refund, but I had to call Expedia and figure it out on my own. The worker at the front was fairly helpful overall. Completely do NOT recommend stepping foot in this hotel if you care about your health and safety.
Surprisingly, this quaint little quality inn was quite nice! Rooms were clean and very spacious, bathrooms decently updated, beds and pillows pretty comfy. Rooms also include: a moderately sized flat-screen TV, a desk with swival chair, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, blow dryer, a full-length mirror, and shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion in the bathrooms. - BTW: Keep in mind: if you need a USB port to charge your phone or other gadgets, there are two located in the bottom-right corner of the microwave; there is also a standard 120V wall outlet there! I must say, however, the main reason my experience here was so wonderful was all thanks to a fellow named Carlos. He was working the night shift when we checked in (this being during the middle of winter, it was my husband and I, and our five-month-old baby, and it was freezing out). He was so understanding, adaptable, and catered to our every need, making it a quick, hassle-free experience! He was so polite, professional, and genuinely sincere and mindful of our situation. If you are checking into this location at night, Carlos is the man for the job; he will surely take good care of you. Be sure to ask for him! Thank you, Carlos, for going that extra mile to ensure we had an excellent experience. We truly appreciate your kindness and taking the time to go above and beyond. Your efforts clearly reflect in your work and are the main reason we keep coming back whenever we need a hotel.
This hotel is super dirty and gross. Rooms are so moldy they made me sick and they smell like cigarette smoke. People are definitely living out of their cars in the parking lot and the whole area is pretty sketchy.
Amazing customer care! Baljit went above and beyond to take care of me and make sure I had a great experience when I had an issue with a forgotten item I left in my room after checkout. We need more employees like him in the world!
Our stay here was nothing but smooth from finish to start. Rooms/bathroom were immaculate. Bed was the coziest. Exceptional service all-around & reasonably priced. Check in & check out, no issues whatsoever. Will definitely be back again. So glad we found this hotel last minute. Highly recommend.
Easy and fast check in even tho we got in at 1 in the morning. Clean room and bathroom are all we can ask for. Close to many fast food places. Would definitely stay here again if needed.
To tell you the truth I am unhappy with the service here. We got here on Wednesday afternoon, after unpacking our bathroom items such as our toothpaste toothbrush medications on the counter and about 15 minutes later going to get ready to brush our teeth after having dinner, I noticed there was a lot of sugar ants all over our toothbrushes our medication bottles and anything that we said on the counter. I brought that to the attention of the front desk person that was on duty they were going they didn't have another suite available so they were going to just move us to another room so it could be taken care of the next morning. Which I understand because no maintenance isn't on site. However, the next day which would have been Thursday I seen lingering ants all over the place but we took all of our stuff off the counter in there the bathroom area. Then on Friday, I asked for the room to be serviced about 11:00 a.m. and did not get any services on Friday. And then on Saturday I asked for the room to be serviced again 8:00 a.m. we arrive back at the hotel probably around 10:00 p.m. and found out that there was no services done in the room, no clean towels, the bed's not made, trash is not taken out, and we didn't have any new trash bags. So Sunday morning when I went down to the office to talk to the front desk lady which is a lady that I had asked Friday and Saturday for the room to be serviced. She was like oh well they forgot on Friday they told me they forgot and then she's like well they didn't service it on Saturday and I said no so very unhappy with the service. Only got back on Saturday I had to call the office to see if we could get some new towels so everybody could take showers so nobody had taken a shower since Thursday. The guy at the front counter said well there wasn't any order put in for them to service the room for Friday or Saturday. He was very nice and was able to bring us up four new towels a floor towel and some new trash bags. Will the trash I took out and I put in the little trash can that's at the edge of the stairs. Today's Sunday the trash is still not been taken out of those trash cans. Also we got a room with a kitchenette in it. There's no dishes no pots and pans I didn't realize I had to provide my own so that kind of just defeated the purpose of having a bigger room. As far as the location of the hotel that's kind of a sketchy neighborhood. I wouldn't walk at night, and I wouldn't walk during the day alone. The swimming pool area is dirty there's cigarette butts all over the place there's trash all over the place, the little life preserver donut thingy that's in the swim area is all tore up. the outside area well the cat walks and stuff those are dirty not cleaned off people steal things all over the place and it's not cleaned up. Well there's a McDonald's, Taco Bell, subway, Mexican restaurant, tattoo shop, and a couple other little shopping markets right around the corner within walking distance. We spent five nights in this hotel room. Thinking that I was going to be an all right hotel room because we've been at other quality inns which has been great. And as far as the breakfast goes the breakfast that serve is waffles an apple, yogurt, coffee, cereal, apple juice and orange juice. I don't know what else I could add on here but I know that I was pretty disappointed in the whole experience at the quality in here. I even had to call choice hotels and let them know about the experience that I had and the problems that were in the room.
I went here with my family and it seemed like a very nice room. Very clean and then went to wash. My hands and the sink had a crack in it. So obviously I look at it cause it's leaking all over the floor and and it's pieced back together with silicone and it falls right out. And they were less than helpful.
Horrible, the room smelled like dirt dog, the shower door didn’t even have a handle. It was so nasty that I left an hour after I checked in to find someplace else. I had to go through Expedia to cancel the reservation and was told I would be getting a full refund. Instead I was charged $217. It took the manager 15 minutes to see I was inside the office waiting to check in, he was busy doing pull ups on the back of the stairs. ? he walked in like sorry I was handling a situation. Umm okay
