The Courtyard by Marriott Fairfield/Napa Valley consistently receives negative feedback regarding cleanliness, noise levels (particularly from highway traffic and guest activity), and aging facility conditions. While some guests praise the staff and convenient location, recurring concerns about bed quality, maintenance issues, and unsanitary conditions raise serious questions about the overall guest experience. Multiple reports highlight persistent problems with cleanliness, infrastructure, and guest safety.

Lots of highway noise. The pool area had alot of people that were not staying at the hotel. They had the doors propped open to bypass the key fob. The key pass for he pool itself was broken. We watched them order food and had it delivered to the pool. They said they were not staying at the hotel. I've never experienced this kind of thing at a Marriott ever before. There were so many derelict hanging out that .y wife was afraid to take our grandkids to the pool by herself. That should never happen. We will never stay here again. The pool was so cloudy you could not see the bottom.

Horrible location, lots weird people walking in the area and parking lot. Hotel is dirty and not kept up. The check in agent was very friendly. Aside from that I just felt dirty and uncomfortable the entire time. Gym stinks. Room stink. Hallways are dark and not welcoming. Property needs attention, not sure how this is even part of Marriott

Absolutely disgusting experience at Courtyard by Marriott Fairfield Napa Valley Area. This place is old, filthy, and completely unacceptable. The carpets were covered in dirt, the towels looked unwashed, and the bed was so uncomfortable it was impossible to sleep. What pushed this from bad to outrageous—I pulled back the mattress cover and found a large, visible blood stain. That is beyond disturbing and a serious cleanliness failure. To top it off, housekeeping banged on the door at 9 AM, waking us up despite our stay. Zero communication, zero respect for guests. This hotel is a health and safety concern. I would never stay here again—avoid at all costs.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I am totally confused by the high ratings for this hotel. The beds are awful. you will be sleeping on springs. The blanket is super thin and not big enough. The bathroom is drab. It's like they "remodeled" but kept the same beds from 20 years ago. Most nice hotels offer coffee and tea in check in area and here they barely had water. Breakfast is not included you must pay separately which isn't worth it. you're better off going to a nice restaurant in town. it's at least 20 minutes from downtown Napa and neighborhood is basic "right off the freeway" hotel. Also there is ONE elevator for a really big hotel with four floors which is insane. We just took the stairs because it never came. I could forgive the freeway noise if the beds were good but a 3 star hotel with bad beds is a crime. I don't usually book Marriot. Waste of money. We would have been better off with the Holiday Inn Express or something similar. I still can't believe I'm paying for this bed. If it wasn't so late I would honestly change hotels. Don't stay here.

Facet in bathtub wouldn't stop running, floor was sticky, very bright security light shining in room though the night, and woke up with burning sensation all over my body due to either bed bugs or something in the bed giving me a rash! Unfortunately this location will not receive any more business from me. Not a location i would recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Vallejo Napa Valley. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Mrs. Mirasol provided outstanding customer service — she was warm, professional, and made sure every detail was taken care of. Her kindness and attention truly made my visit special. I highly recommend this hotel and appreciate the amazing service from Mrs. Mirasol and the entire team!

Came here for an interview in town. The front desk staff was nice. The location was convenient and they even asked which side of the hotel I wanted to be on, but this isn't like most Marriots. There was no USB charging by the bed. The bed was HORRIBLE. I didn't sleep at all and my body is extremely sore today. I think I almost fell asleep but a noise in the hotel shocked me up. When I left, it was known to the front desk how horrible the bed was and they gave me a 2000 Marriot points (16 dollars). I didn't make it to the interview and I'm going to see my chiropractor now. I gave stars because the staff tried and location, but please get rid of that bed. I don't want it to hurt anyone else

First the good: room was quiet and the curtains made the room dark, the staff was excellent, and they gave us a late check out. Now the disappointing: Chipped paint, black stains in the shower (mold?), an obvious leaking roof witnessed by several blowers located around the property, ice maker out of service, no mats, foam rollers, or soft floor in the fitness center for stretching. The hotel is within sight of US80 which created a noisy exterior environment. Ne'er-do-wells were performing burnouts in front of the hotel Saturday night to complete the feeling of a worn out, depressed hotel experience.

I stayed 2 nights here for work. Everyone is very friendly and professional. The room is all alright. Quiet and has everything I need. Location is perfect, grocery store and In n Out within 3 min walking distance. Li at the coffee bar is very warm-hearted and made the best avocado toast I’ve ever had in a courtyard. David at the front desk is very helpful! Would stay again! p

Stayed here 2 weeks for work and had a less than stellar experience. It was the middle of July and very hot out and our AC stopped working about 2 days in. I let the desk staff know and they called the maintenance person who came in, turned the thermostat all the way down, and left without verifying that it worked (it didn’t). There was also a very large group of high school athletes that stayed in the hotel while we were there. They were extremely noisy slamming doors, yelling in the hallways, throwing balls against the wall. On multiple occasions it sounded like the guests above us were dropping bowling balls on the floor. This was all late at night and woke up my daughter and me which was frustrating because I needed to be up early for work. I told the desk staff but nothing changed and this continued on for multiple nights. They offered to switch my room but that unfortunately wasn’t an option for us due to me traveling with my baby we had too much stuff to pack up. The laundry facility has an option to pay using an app, but the app takes your money and doesn’t work with the laundry machines. Nikki was very professional and helpful and helped me figure out the laundry situation. Overall the facilites and rooms are clean and nice and the staff is very friendly but I don’t think I would stay here again.
