I have stayed here multiple times and I've had good stays and bad stays. I've had to change rooms a couple of times cause the t.v. or something else wasn't working. The rooms are really not that clean and the bathrooms are not updated at all. The front desk people are friendly and very accommodating though.
I came to Fairfield for a couple of days to attend my brother's funeral. I arrived a little early before the 3 pm check in time. Management told me to come back a little later. No problem. When I returned around 5 pm to check in, the person at the counter told me that she did not have any clean rooms available despite the fact that I had a reservation. I was really surprised. Just then, one of the cleaning ladies entered the office and said a room was ready. The room had paint chipping off the wall. No microwave. The TV remote did not work and there were some secthy people hanging around the area. I made a big mistake staying at this Particular Sure stay by Best Western. Definitely would not recommend it to anyone.
Great economic choice, employee aubrey facilitated quite possibly the best custome service during the check-in process. Rooms are small but well kept with modern amenities. No glory hole but electric charging next door so hay
I'm not normally very picking. I look for a clean room with a fridge and a shower that I can use to work in and sleep in. This room was shockingly bad and I would not use it again. The shower was damaged and falling apart, with a hole in the wall and a false bottom covering up most of the rust and damage but preventing it from draining correctly. It also never got above slightly warm, and I don't normally like my showers very hot. The bed was okay, but the pillows were extremely crinkly and plasticy, which made moving at all super disruptive. The outlets were smashed so only 2 of them worked, there was no iron in the room (they told me they removed them with no further clarification), and one of the light switches was stuck and would sometimes turn itself off. There was also a full inch gap under the door, so you could hear and smell the freeway all night, not to mention any safety concerns. The TV was mounted at an angle, the floors were warped, and the wall paint was peeling. Also, I normally wouldn't hold this against a hotel as a one-off, but their wifi cut out for 3 hours in the middle of the day, which made working out of their hotel very difficult, as they had no explanation or timeline for it coming back. Overall there was very little to like about this hotel, and it is far and away the second worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Do not stay here.
I’ve been a resident of Solano County for about 5 years, and from time to time I book a stay at this hotel. Until this visit, I’ve never had any issues, which is why this experience was such a disappointment. I believe the hotel is under new management, and unfortunately, many things were wrong during my stay. The phone in the room was not working, the refrigerator was leaking and caused a foul odor in the room, and while taking a shower I unfortunately spotted a roach. Due to it being late at night and during the holidays, I was unable to move rooms. I documented everything and informed a customer service staff member that night, who said she would notate it for management to review in the morning. When I spoke with the manager the next morning, the experience became even worse. She was rude, showed no empathy, and accused me of yelling instead of actually listening to my concerns. She told me I could have just left, never apologized, and even implied that I was trying to “get over,” stating that many people complain to her. I felt prejudged rather than respected as a returning guest. I made it clear that I’ve stayed here multiple times before without any issues. I requested a full refund, which she initially talked me down from. She eventually agreed to call the overnight staff to confirm that my concerns had been documented. I booked through Booking.com and will also be filing a complaint with them. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially considering my past positive stays here. I hope management takes accountability and improves both customer service and room conditions.
This hotel is completely unacceptable. Room 328 should be shut down and remodeled. It was filled completely with dust mites and I let my daughter walk on the floor for five minutes and her feet look like they collected a years worth of disgusting trash. There is no excuse and surestay should be embarassed.
ROOM HAD ROACHES SMH...We didn't even set our bags down and returned to the office for a refund. We were told the regional manager had to approve the refund so depending on that answer I will update the review about customer service. The ladies on the office were very polite and apologetic. With a 200$ cash deposit you would think you could enjoy your night ROACH FREE. *would add pics if I could*
This place is really rundown. The staff that work there are extremely nice. The breakfast is very poor. The pool is not maintained. The hot tub is broken. There’s no pool towels. I was given stained Towels that are for The rooms bathroom floors. There’s no ice machine. There’s really sketchy people all along the hotel doing a lot of drugs passed out in their cars and sketchy people staying at the hotel. The air conditioner in the room is extremely loud. It was quiet through the night, considering the stuff that goes on outside the hotel.We will never stay at this hotel ever again. If you have a family, I would not consider staying here. It’s really unfortunate that this place is awful as it is.
Besides the window panels being broken and the rack to hang your clothes was also off the wall I had a bad experience. I got a call at 9pm saying that we needed to keep it down, I have a two year old who was unwinding and I was still talking to her dad. We said yeah got it, I put her to bed within 30 minutes. During the afternoon there was people drinking on the balcony and listening to music, at least three different rooms were outside instead of keeping all of that indoors. They continued until 1am and I have a picture of a shirtless man outside my window smoking, drinking and on the phone but no one ever came to shut that down. Instead they worried about a two year old.. not the people who are making their hotel look like a frat house. It’s disturbing that they allow drunks to hang outside while others are trying to sleep
Driving across the country, drove 9 hours straight and had a room booked and fully paid for in advance. Get there to find out that they canceled my room, absolutely no curtesy call, no option to still have a room, and left me and my family with no place to go! Worst hotel, worst customer service that I have ever experienced! And extremely rude employees!
